„Alles“ = Was es gab, gibt, geben wird “The whole“ = What existed, exists, will exist
To think a “nothing at all“, a “something“ without any something, but as “opposite“ of the total-worldly entirety, as “state of perfect non-existence“, is that logical thinking? Since Xenophanes (circa 565-470) there is known the idea of the one being, which Parmenides (circa 515-445) made to his ontology, to the doctrine of being, according to which there is only being, not non-being. The connection of predicate and subject is represented by the auxiliary verb “is“: “Nothing is“ is completely contradictory in itself. Still nothing of something or nothing anymore of something, on the other hand, is to be considered in a differentiated way.
Welt menschgemacht und nicht-menschgemacht World manmade and not-manmade
Kleiner Weltausschnitt, große Gedanken Small world details, great thoughts
What never exists consequently only does not exist. For Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel (1770-1831),
the concept of nothing is the opposite of the concept of being and exists in our thinking. It is the “empty idea itself, the same empty thinking as the pure being, thus
the same as the pure being“. For Martin Heidegger (1889-1976) the being “reveals itself only through the nothing and we encounter it in fear“ ...
One may
think through the immanent contradictions here and clearly recognize. It is certain that there is the term, in English NOTHING, seven letters. Which conceptual
content can be meant! Each occupation with it leads by necessary additions to a something (article that, auxiliary verb is, opposite of everything, view, the same as,
encounter, there is), whereby necessarily not “nothing at all“ comes into being but some unreal thought-something. Nothing = something contradicts every propositional
logic and reason. What there is, what therefore “is“ always concerns a something which exists and which therefore is. Thinking nothing means to think “something somewhere“,
not to think nothing. To think towards logical thinking can counteract headaches as a consequence of long wrong thinking, for nothing is just NOT – and done. Before above all:
And done. To analyze never existing means to analyze contradictory (what would a never conceived child look like).
Nur der Mensch kann abstrakt denken? Human being only can think abstractly?

Let’s not take logical thinking too seriously. If knowledge of world reality is not meant, but for example
general discussion, entertainment, creative thinking, imagination,
then let us calmly “no lamp“ shine. Ernesto Cardenals writes that trillions of galaxies and trillions of stars are the stars from which we originate, and he asks why the world
exists and not simply nothingness, and he says that something so unbelievably big must have a purpose, so we may with joy indulge in such fantasies and imaginations. One last
time, however, this question: What could be logically objected if the only valid establishment “Nothing is only not“ is thought and explained? Nothing. And what if from this in
itself conclusive realization follows necessarily, that the rimless one “Entirety“ without opposite contains in itself all material and immaterial somethings, which existed,
exist and will exist? Nothing, too. This one “Entirety“ contains everything, itself therefore included. That Xenophanes element of being concerned everything that exists, but
not everything that existed and everything that will exist. Parmenides nevertheless recognized and described his “On“ logically. We know what has been and we expect what will
come. Far away celestial bodies let us recognize what happened to them many millenniums ago. Only then the extinction of a star can here on earth be determined, so also beginning
and end of a previous event there. In other words: The one-time original sequence of event elements there will show up again at our place as an image of the event elements, once
and unchanged. Long ago original past and future things there have not simply disappeared, both appear somewhere else, but only later in a “new“ present.
The preoccupation
of thinking with the principle of the Being gives the principle fulfilment of sense – and the possibility to grasp unlimited infinity (only-in-existence) simply and without any
headache.
